Valentina is a character who initially appears as a sword training instructor for Mallory. She is later revealed to be a human-nymph hybrid with knowledge of the fairy realm. Valentina offers to share her secrets with Mallory if she defeats her in a duel. Despite Mallory's inability to beat her, Valentina relents after Mallory expresses her love for her family. Valentina also reveals her past attempt to kill Mulgarath and the murder of her mother by him. She assists Mallory in retrieving a magical sword from the Goblin Market to defeat Mulgarath.
