GeographyEditThe Estate was surrounded by a medium-sized meadow. South of it passed a small road known as Dulac Drive, and north was a small forest. A small river hosting a River Troll ran through the forest. In the north end of the forest was where the Goblin Camp was located. Northwest of the Estate was a Junkyard, and northeast of the Estate was a school.
The mansion was originally owned by Arthur Spiderwick until his disappearance. Arthur's daughter Lucinda tried to restore it but was sent to a sanitorium after goblins cut her. The house is now owned by Helen Grace and her children.
Behind the scenes Edit
Tony DiTerlizzi based the design of the Spiderwick Estate on the many Victorian houses still standing in Maine today.
