Freddie Highmore (born February 14, 1992) is an English actor known for his roles in both film and television. He gained early fame as a child actor in movies like "Finding Neverland" (2004) and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (2005). Highmore is also well-known for his portrayal of Norman Bates in the television series "Bates Motel" (2013-2017) and Dr. Shaun Murphy in the medical drama "The Good Doctor" (2017-2024). In addition to acting, he has also ventured into directing and writing.
