Emiko is one of Dr. Brauer's patients who helps Jared and Simon in their quest to recover Spiderwick's Field Guide. She protects Jared by claiming responsibility for vandalizing Brauer's car and later assists in capturing Thimbletack. Emiko aids in forming a truce between the Grace twins, Thimbletack, and Hatchet to collect the pages of the Field Guide. She is affected by Mulgarath's sleeping spell and falls unconscious at the ball along with other teenagers.
