Bree Kent is a character in The Spiderwick Chronicles television series, who is portrayed by Mellany Barros.
Biography[]
Little is known about her childhood, only that her mother died when she was younger under the hands of Mulgarath, which prompts her to seek revenge. She lives with her father Tanner Kent, "Hensons number one realtor". She is an avid fencer. Bree is one of Valentina's students who becomes Mallory's sparring partner. She is revealed to be conspiring with Valentina to eliminate Mallory from an upcoming competition. She aids Mallory in parleying for a magical sword from a goblin merchant and is chosen as the sword's owner.

Bree Kent is shown to have a competitive nature. She is determined and dedicated in her athletics and fencing. We learn she has deeper motivations in regards to her fencing. She is Valentinas number one fencer and hopes to get revenge for the loss of her mother. She switches from being mean to developing something more with Mallory Grace.
We don't Know her sexuality , we see that she has a boyfriend, but it suggests to her being open to "boys, girls, and nonbinary". Mallory Grace and Bree develop a friendship, but it is unclear whether there is a romantic connection.
